Nearly 13 years ago, Jessy and I made a special trip to one of my favorite hotels in Baton Rouge. It was always a family favorite and we would go there sometimes with my Momo when she would travel with us to our basketball tournaments in High Schools. Well, Jessy and I were going to celebrate the best day in our lives, our wedding day. We only stayed there one night for our honeymoon because we were heading to New Orleans for our cruise.
This trip to the hotel was special too, but a lot more CRAZY!!! Don’t tell Joseph this, but he is not the best traveler in the world, hotels wire him up and sleep is rare! Yet, despite a lack of sleep, much fun was had! Below is a picture overload, meant basically for my own memories. What made this trip so special was being able to take it with our big boy, who was a part of our dreams even nearly 13 years ago! I love the memories we were able to make with him and the ones we were able to remember while we were there!
Joseph did not like elevators before this trip, but he got brave and it was a wonderful transformation to see.
A dream come true!
Ahhh, sweet sleep. We have the Trahan kiddos to thank for helping us wear him out!
