Last month, Jessy and I took a short trip with Joseph and he was W.I.L.D!!! He jumped on the bed, tried to jump off the bed, banged on the window, fought sleep, played secretary, and in his own mind had a great time. We on the other hand were thinking “Let’s get home N.O.W”. But it was necessary for us to stay for a few more days and like any other amateur parents, we thought it would get better with practice and redirection. Some things got better, but we were utterly exhausted.
