I love to capture these little moments that seem ordinary!

A lovie–

Joseph has never had developed an affection for stuffed animals or lovies (I have always been his ‘lovie’) but one night this week, he went to bed with Hopper .

For the first time ever, he held onto a lovie at night and I was so happy, I snapped this picture!

Bad bug

I don't know what it was, but Joseph was pushing limits and not listening (and obeying) alot today.  I had to raise my voice several times and it just seemed he wanted to just "push" the limit.  Ugh!  This is not the kid I have every other day of the week so I was nearly lost when my patience was thin.  I tried to make a joke about it after dinner.  I told him "wow, Joseph, I think a really bad bug must have bit you and is trying to see how much he can get you to not listen or obey."  This got his attention.  We often talk about Mosquitos and their 'bad bites so this was something he was interested in.  Well, before Joseph and I could finish our conversation Matthew tells Joseph "oh, Matthew has been but by that bug a few time before."  Well, we managed to redirect our attention ;). Lol!!  We all giggled after that!

My highlight today...

The past 48 hours have been tough, just alot going on and more needs than hands but I got my silver lining a few moments ago.
While watching Barney, Joseph asked to to dance with him and "YES" was my reply!  Praise God I can dance.  Praise God that I have a beautiful, handsome boy to dance with!  PRAISE GOD THAT HE WANTS TO DANCE WITH HIS MOMMA!

After all the heaviness that has been having me in the edge of tears for awhile now, I am thankful for these blessed moments.

Abba, Father, thank you for a life filled with reminders of love that blossoms in the hour of sacrifice.  Amen.

What I needed today...

My day was full of anxiety and I had a little low where I was sitting down to eat my lunch and just started crying.  I don't cry very much lately so this surprised me.  I took some time, prayed, and found this.  I found some hope then started scrubbing.  After scrubbing and cleaning, I took a break to call a friend.  So good for my soul.

So glad my day turned out better!

Dreams

Last night Joseph was going like the energizer bunny and so while I was trying to wind him down for sleep, I asked him, "so what do you want to dream about tonight?"  He replies "race cars!" He then goes on to describe their speed, fierceness, and characteristics (colors, etc).  Next we said prayers and I read one final story.

So 11 hours later when he is waking up, I  told him "good morning!  What did you dream about?"

His face was priceless as he said "race cars."  Like, duh!!  Why did I not remember that ;)))

We went through a sweet stage where I used to wake him up and he would say me each and every time.  That always melted my heart so much!  I LOVED that stage!
