I often feel like I am living in a zoo, but the recent trip to the zoo in May made me realize that I do not live in a zoo
Here is a cute picture of Joseph making his plans to see the monkeys while we wait for our friends to arrive at the zoo!
In this picture, Joseph looks well rested and excited. He was excited, but far from well rested. He is not the one I will brag about when I share how he travels He is not a huge fan of hotels!
Our friends are here!!! We sure love the Trahan’s! Here is Malorie, Max, Graham (our cool godson), Joseph, and Emma.
Our family loves turtles, so this sight was fun to see!
Checking out the tiger!!!
Joseph looks wiped out already! It was 9 am and already so hot!!!
One of my favorite pictures of all times! Graham and Joseph leading the way at the zoo. They look like groan little men with their cool stride.
Malorie wanted to help Joseph slide down and she went way faster than he did! His expressions were priceless during those quick seconds. Malorie loves, loves, loves Joseph! She was a huge prayer warrior for him when I was pregnant and she is such a blessing in our lives. She loves to talk to me about the babies we have in heaven and she never forgets how much we love them. I say “we” because she loves them all so much too! When I was pregnant with Joseph she told us at prayer time one night she was going to marry Joseph. She said it again during our last visit. He would be a lucky guy if that ever worked out She is a sweetheart full of big love!
Another picture of fun Malorie!
Sweet Max!!
Jessy & Graham! Graham was so much fun during our visit! He adored his Uncle Jessy (which was so adorable to watch) and they hung out a lot together. They played at the zoo, hung out pitching the baseball to G (he has a great swing for a 4 year old), and played the “What’s Missing?” Game! So fun. Joseph was on his sidekick!
Climbing fences, checking out the giraffes!
He still talks about the giraffes!
This big tortoise was huge, Joseph was not a big fan.
We all loved the pink flamingos!!
Joseph liked the birds, but he was more interested in chasing the squirrels. Literally, we were running behind him as he chased the squirrels up the trees . . . oh ya ya!!
He helped push the stroller, notice he is not riding . .. .
Emma was the perfect “little Momma” for this boy. He adored her!
We had a great time watching the elephants!
Our best family picture just happened to include the elephant’s rear . . . not well planned. . . I can assure you!
This sweet elephant was lonely, she lost her companion earlier this year and they are moving her to a new zoo later this summer. We were lucky to see her.
Kim & her gang!
Joseph trying to escape
I love this little wild animal!!
Ready to ride the train, thanks Malorie for buying our ticket!
I was too big for the train, my knees had screw indentions in them when I got off. One of my least favorite things about being so tall (and overweight).
The train was by far his favorite thing that day!
