After out long journey to see Dr. J last week, we rested and splurged on dinner at Outback in Be.aumont.  Good way to refuel our family's tank!

Joseph remembers

Tonight as we were saying night prayers, Joseph was wound up and kicking his legs as he tried to relax for bed.  It made me think about how when he was still growing in my womb, he was the most active around bedtime.  Not sure what I mentioned next, but he turned to look at Jessy and boldly proclaimed "DaddyO, when I was a baby growing in mommy's tummy, I used to kick like this (kicking wildly).  I wanted to come out, it was dark in there."

Made my heart smile. Made my heart wonder, made my cup rubbery over, what a treasure he has always been.

Pinchers and Pom Poms

Joseph loved the first busy bag I pulled from the box!!

Jesus

During the week, Joseph and I were up earlier than usual and we were able to go to daily Mass.  Joseph was well behaved (for a 3 year old) and quite entertaining at the same time.  During the first reading he could not see the lector and he grew very quiet and had his eyes fixed on Jesus above the altar and asked me "Mommy, is Jesus talking?"  I giggled to myself, showed him the lector, but secretly rejoiced because I am
Always telling him that I pray for him to always hear the whisper of God's voice!

It is the little things that make me smile.  A superhero on the floor and trains under the table, evidence that a happy, imaginative boy is present and part of our lives!  So thankful for God sharing him with us.
