For a few weeks we were getting excited to bring Joseph to see the Christmas Train that was coming to a town near us.
After a whirlwind of meltdowns about what he did not want to wear and despite the frigid temperatures and unbelievable crowd, we rode the ‘Holiday Train’ and it was all worth the craziness it entailed! Oh how I love this boy!!!
On our way there, he found the train tracks so he knew we were close Love his excitement!
When he finally found the trains, he was clapping and jumping up and down in his seat full of unrestrained joy! Pure jolliness!
We showed up and it was still daylight!
When we saw the line, we knew right then we had lost our mind! It was cold and the line was crazy long!
All of that for this happy little boy!
JOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Waiting in line for his turn to ride the train!
So close, we are almost there!
His eyes were filled with wonder at all the sights of the elves and their train cars!
He really liked the Elves ;0)
He was a little upset that we could not STAY on the train, but at least Santa was waiting to greet us!
He loved Santa and the only thing he says he would like for Christmas is a Christmas tree!
Happy days of making wonderful memories!
No longer daylight, now the cheerful train, Rudy, is shimmering in her lights!
