He has been on a very independent kick . . . as in not listening to hardly anything. Today was the first time I punished him to the room and he knew to stay there (for the few minutes it took me to tidy the living room and put away the lunch dishes). I came back to find him learning he can count to seven. He can do 10, but he was counting on something that just has 7 openings. I have been trying to teach him this but he acts like he doesn’t get it. This child is already trying to fool me . . . I do have my work cut out for me!
