Then they do
By trace Adkins brought on this little reflection-
Today I had the luxury of being in the van and listening to this song and realized that it captures the stirring of my heart these last 3 years with Joseph. I think part of the reason I don't feel restricted being home playing trains, cars, and puzzles everyday IS BECAUSE I have already had a decade of the silence. Even though the wait was incredibly hard, I am thankful God waited with me. Even in the losses of the two before him, I find myself even more grateful for them because in Joseph I get a peek at how they could've turned our life upside down and now I am even more eager to meet and know them in Heaven, I won't lie, being a Mom is the most incredible gift God has given me, but every single day (often many times a day) I beg God to help me be a better Momma, beg Him to teach me to love like Him, beg him to slow down the time because even though Joseph is still just 3 I want to fully live every moment of being his Momma.

Snow Day in Louisiana
It is funny to think that school was cancelled today. Look at all of this snow
The nearby communities got a bit more snow and the main reason school was cancelled was because of concerns for traveling on the roads. bridges, etc to get to school.
When we first woke up, we peeked outside to just look at the snow, but Joseph was thrilled to see “SNOW”!!! So We went back in and added another layer of clothes and a jacket then we played in the ‘Snow’.
Joseph was thrilled to feel the snowflakes fall into his hands.
Pure excitement!!!
He calls this his “hiking in the snow’'” pictures!
Matthew chasing Joseph
Footprint in the snow!
Why so many pictures? Because even the littlest amount of snow is very rare in SWLA!!!
Ready to make HOT CHOCOLATE!
Oh, how I love those rosy cheeks!!!

Josephism
I got a new nightgown and when he saw it he said "what is that?"
I replied with "my new night gown."
His response: "oh, ok. Let me smell it ;)"

Our day of blocks and cookies
My favorite part of the day was building towers of Megablocks. His objective was that each block that went on the tower had to get there with "diggers" help. I love his creativity!
And at some point we made cookies with mini m&ms on top! He only ate one and then asked me to save them to share with Daddy-o and Matthew when they get home this afternoon.
Thankful for this sweet time with my favorite 3 year old.
