Big???

The days are moving too fast.

A few days ago, I was sitting on the floor of Joseph's room, playing blocks, and realized just how much he has grown,

My heart still wonders at the gift that he is God our family!  Even on the trying days, I remind myself that he is an answered prayer for Jessy & I.

Our crazy Baton Rouge Trip . . .

I had to make a random trip to Baton Rouge yesterday and Ancy Barbara joined us for the trip so that Joseph would have some company while I did the business I was in town to do.  After the craziness of the beginning of the trip, the ridiculousness of getting things accomplished at Louisiana State Police office, and recovering from the stiff seats in the van we relaxed at the park.  There was one sweet friend that Joseph made at the park and then we made our way to see Mike the Tiger at LSU.

It felt like it was 100+ degrees outside, so I do not blame Mike for taking a nap in the shade.  Wish I could have done the same!

We explained to Joseph that Matthew really wants to go live with his Momma because he misses her.  Joseph said "You can go visit her, but I want to keep you."  Then later he said "Matthew, my Momma can be your Momma."

Oh Mother Mary, I can only imagine how hurtful those swords were as they pierced your heart.  Mother Mary, please keep your watchful eye on my boys, Matthew & Joseph.  Although they will no longer share a home, their hearts will always love one another deeply, such a brotherly love.
