Happy 18th birthday Matthew!!!
We are reaching some milestones with Matthew and we are delighted to say that we have seen him make good choices lately and show signs that he has been taking in all the things we have been trying to share with him.
He was very excited to have his birthday party and we kept it small and had him choose the menu & cake. He requested a homemade ice cream cake (is delicious but terribly unattractive). We had Cane’s Chicken Fingers and he had his Mom and my mom and Ancy over to help him celebrate along with the three of us.
He has been wanting a new rifle to deer hunt with so he asked everyone for money to help him afford the gun. We want to help him have a special birthday memory and so we gave him a surprise of getting the gun for him so he could use his birthday money to buy the scope and other accessories!
We tried to throw him off with this shirt that he loved.
He was thrilled with the surprise, hooray!
His reaction was ‘AWE AND WONDER”!
Hope he made a special wish!!!
